Last year I talked about KBOS, my object system, and what is wrong with todays usage of objects. This year i enjoyed tadziks talk and in the hallway I had several good conversations about what OOP supposed to be. But I still find many phrases misleading. So lets cut the big words and ask what is the single core idea of OOP in laymens terms. Then we can confidently argue why MFV or any other design pattern is in its core anti OOP.
